1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, we collect your mobile phone number and optional name. When you use the Service, we store the recipes, photos, menus, and other content you upload. We also collect standard usage data (page views, feature interactions) to improve the product.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Authenticate you and manage your account
• Provide the recipe extraction, meal planning, and shopping list features
• Send you SMS verification codes via Twilio
• Process subscription payments via Stripe
• Improve the Service and fix issues

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Logiciated:

• Twilio — SMS delivery for login codes
• Stripe — Subscription billing and payment processing
• Quaderno — Tax-compliant subscription invoices
• Vercel — Application hosting and photo storage
• Amazon Web Services — Database and infrastructure hosting
• Anthropic — AI recipe extraction from dish photos, recipe notes and links, and product-label reading (Claude)
• DeepL — Translation services
• Resend — Transactional email (receipts and account notices)
• Upstash — Rate limiting and abuse protection
• Meta (Facebook) — Advertising measurement for our ad campaigns, described in the Advertising and Analytics section below
• Google Ads — Advertising conversion measurement for our ad campaigns, described in the Advertising and Analytics section below

Each of these services has their own privacy policies. We share only the minimum data required for them to function.

4. Data Storage

Your data is stored on AWS infrastructure in the United States. We keep your data for as long as your account exists — including after a free trial ends or a subscription lapses, so your recipes stay available to you and you can still export them. You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us.

Your content is private to your account. The Service has no sharing or publishing features, and nothing you store is ever visible to any other user.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us and we'll open a support ticket.

6. Cookies

Logiciated uses a single session cookie (logiciated_session) to keep you logged in. We also store your language preference in localStorage. See the Advertising and Analytics section below for the advertising cookies set by Meta.

7. Advertising and Analytics

We use the Meta Pixel and Meta Conversions API (Meta/Facebook) to measure the performance of our advertising campaigns. This shares limited information with Meta when you visit our site or start a free trial, including the pages you view and, for trial signups, a cryptographically hashed (SHA-256) version of your email address and/or phone number — never the plain-text value — along with your IP address and browser user agent. Meta may set advertising cookies (such as _fbp/_fbc) as part of this. You can control ad personalisation for your Meta account in your Meta ad preferences, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies.

We also use Google Ads conversion tracking to measure the performance of our Google advertising campaigns. When you visit our site or start a free trial, this shares limited information with Google, including the pages you view and, for trial signups, the conversion itself. In this phase we do not send Google any personal data such as your email address or phone number, whether in plain text or hashed form. Google may set advertising cookies (such as _gcl_au) as part of this. You can control ad personalisation in your Google ad settings, and most browsers let you block third-party cookies.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via the email or phone number associated with your account.
